A.C. Houghton Elementary
A.C. Houghton Elementary School is part of the Morrow County School District and serves students living in Irrigon from pre-kindergarten through third grade with a staff of just over 35 teachers and classified professionals.  A.C. Houghton was built in the 1950's next to the old Irrigon School building, which had previously served students K-12.  Over the years, several additions have been made to our school building, with the most recent one completed in 1995.

Irrigon, Oregon is about 175 miles east of Portland just north of the I-84 corridor with a beautiful view of the Columbia River.  Irrigon is a small city of about 1,300 people.  Other cities close by include Hermiston, 15 miles to the southeast, and the Tri-Cities, Washington, 35 miles to the north.  Our main industry is agriculture.
