AC Houghton Elementary School is excited to begin limited on-site instruction next week, September 14-17. We divided our population of students into fourths and each group will attend 1 day per week for 2 hours. We looked at siblings, family groups and called each family to check in about where children were staying during the school day. We were able to create 4 equal groups.
Monday Group: 12:00-2:00pm (every Monday starting 9/14)
Tuesday Group: 12:00-2:00pm (every Tuesday starting 9/15)
Wednesday Group: 12:00-2:00pm (every Wednesday starting 9/16)
Thursday Group: 12:00-2:00pm (every Thursday starting 9/17)
During our on-site instruction, we have guidelines that we need to follow including:
Students wear a mask or face shield
Maintain social distancing
Encourage frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitizer
Bring a water bottle
Unfortunately, at this time parents and volunteers can not enter the building.
Also, Morrow County School District is providing meals to all students at no charge. ACH students will be able to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch. The buses have been delivering meals on routes throughout the county, but if you miss the bus delivery, you can go to your child’s school to pick up the meals.
