We are excited to be offering Free GED prep classes in Spanish Tuesday and Wednesday from 4-6 at RHS. These sessions are available to Spanish speaking youth 16-21 and their parents. Important Update on Student Safety at Irrigon Junior-Senior High School: We want to inform you of a safety report that we received Sunday night at approximately 10:20pm. Irrigon Junior/Senior High School administration received a call from the Morrow County Sheriff’s office about their investigation of a social media post that a student was potentially planning to bring a firearm to school. Due to the quick and thorough response by the Sheriff’s Office the student was identified. Out of an abundance of caution, there will be increased Morrow County Sheriff’s deputy presence on Monday in Irrigon to ensure the safety of all students and staff throughout the school day. We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of every student at Irrigon Junior/Senior High School and all schools of Morrow County School district. We appreciate the quick and thorough response of the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office. This serves as an important reminder to all of us that if you see or hear something that could pose a safety risk, it is critical to speak up. Your vigilance helps keep our schools safe. Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping our school community safe.

Every Day Matters! Students with regular school attendance are more likely to succeed in school and beyond. Coming to school regularly also helps students connect with their peers and teachers. If you or a child you know needs help getting to school, talk to your school counselor or administration. ¡Cada día cuenta! MCSD will be closed on September 2nd in observance of Labor Day. Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers and is observed on the 1st Monday in September.
