Families with athletes remember to call your provider or local clinic to schedule your Annual Well Care visit. This will include the sports physical if asked for. MCSD will be closed on May 30th in observance of Memorial Day. Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day. It began as a way to honor soldiers who died in the Civil War, but now honors all U.S. veterans who have died while serving in the military. We are so excited for the carnival at AC Houghton Elementary School tomorrow evening. The carnival will include games, raffle prizes, face painting, barbeque hamburgers, ice cream, a cake walk and more! If you are entering a cake in the decorating contest, bring that to school tomorrow. We look forward to seeing everyone, Thursday May 19th from 5:00-8:00pm.

Parents / Guardians can access the teacher request forms at the main office in each elementary school beginning May 16, 2022. Request forms will need to be turned in on or before May 27th to be considered. Please remember requests are not automatically guaranteed as we must consider the individual academic, behavioral and social-emotional needs of each student and the overall well-being of all students. Come to A.C. Houghton Elementary on Thursday Night for a fun Family Movie Night from 6:00pm-7:30pm. We will serve popcorn and each child will get a free book. Then we have STEAM Friday from 11:15am-3:30pm on April 29th.

It is STEAM Friday this week! Each building has fun, hands on activities planned for their students. Buses will run on the 3-hour delay schedule. DON'T MISS OUT! ¡Es viernes de STEAM esta semana!
